How Do I Make it in Life? Entrepreneurship – A Tool For Wealth Creation in Recent Times

The word success can be traced back to the bible. After the creation of mankind, He said "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground". We saw from that biblical verse that God himself destined mankind for success (Reigning in Life) but in our contemporary world today, a lot of people are struggling to make ends meet.

Living in a world where there is job insecurity, people getting laid off their jobs on daily basis, a world filled with under employment, graduate having no job and no future. You need to act now. Act for yourself, family, generation, today and for tomorrow. How then should you act? What actions must you take to succeed? What steps will take you to where you have always dreamt of? Read on.

The answer to all this questions is for you to become an Entrepreneur. Affirmations – Manifesting and Your Dreams

We can use affirmations to change, improve and reprogram our subconscious minds to work wonders and bring about wonderful changes in our lives. The main point about working with affirmations is that you want the wording to work for you. Feelings and emotions behind a thought is what helps the speed at which the desire manifests. Therefore, it is important that your affirmation sparks those good vibrations, feelings and emotions to get the manifesting ball rolling. For example, some people like lengthy ones and others like short and sweet. Some like it to rhyme and some like to sing it. Whatever works for you is best. But as you are saying your affirmation you will notice how well they are working by what your dreams reflect you.

Let’s use our desire for money as an example; You are needing some money or wanting to add more prosperity to your life so you start using an affirmation: People Love To Give Me Money. And you are saying this all day and night to yourself and having a great feeling and thinking Wow! this is great and then that night you dream a dream that is dark and dreary, not prosperous at all. The dream points out to you that you have a block to receiving money or that you don’t believe that people would randomly give you money. Voila! the block is revealed. Thank yourself for pointing out this subconscious belief. This block can be changed but until you dreamt it you were unaware of this subconscious belief or disbelief and an affirmation will work for you once you change that belief. In fact, any of us who are not in the flow of money and prosperity have some kind of basic subconscious block to riches and prosperity.

Following Your Dreams – The Art of Drawing Your Desires

There has been much written on and spoken about when it comes to Manifesting your wants and desires. In fact, David and I did a few shows on that very topic. The one thing that I have found to be true and most important for Manifestation is:

Thoughts have Power!!

We all know or should know by now how the brain works. Electrical impulses send information to all areas of our bodies. Thoughts and images are all forms of electrical impulses. Here is where the connection gets lost for some people. Everything around us is a form of energy. Thoughts are a form of energy, the things that make up every aspect of our daily lives are forms of energy.

In the Law of Attraction Like draws Like. What does that mean? If we put it into to terms of our thoughts it means this, What you focus your thoughts on is what you draw into your life. I know we have all heard that thousands of times but what does that really mean? It’s quite simple, if say you are looking to become an actor, but you have thoughts let’s say right before an audition like, "I don’t think I have what they need" or "I just know there Will be someone there who is better than me", chances are that is exactly what will happen. You called it into being, you made it real. Some would say that is the "Law of Self-fulfillment" and in a way yes it is. I would like you to think for a minute that it is the energy you focused on and in doing so brought into existence making your thoughts reality.

Are You Too Tense? What Are You Expecting From Yourself?

One of the few jokes in my life I’ve ever been able to remember is this one:

A person goes to the psychologist and says, "Doc, I am having a problem. One day, I think I am a teepee. The next day, I think I am a wigwam. And then it is back to teepee the following day. This just keeps having over and over. Teepee, wigwam, teepee, wigwam. What’s wrong with me?

The doctor says, "It is actually quite simple. Too tents."

HAHA! Get it? You can probably imagine why this is one I remember, since being ‘too tense’ has appeared maybe once or twice in my life and kept me from being positive and productive. Maybe you’ve been too tense a time or two as well. Just sayin’….

From the time we were little kids, my youngest brother would sometimes warn my other brother and me that he was feeling ‘tensey,’ i.e., "too tense/tents." We knew when he said this that we needed to settle down, back off, or otherwise keep from adding to his tension. I would love to tell you that we were all such loving children that we always did that, but in general, we did. John and I knew that when David said this, it was a warning and a statement that thoughtful people would heed.

What do you need to say when you’ve gotten too tense? Frankly, I use the word "tensey" with my husband to let him know (in case he hasn’t already figured it out) that I’m feeling a bit over the top. What do you say (or do you even notice?) And what does your tension come from? May I suggest that you

Your Success Depends on Who You Think You Are

By Karen Ficarelli

As she thinks…so she is.

Are you a winner or a loser? If you believe that you are defeated, then you are. If you think you are successful, then you are. Now, that’s not saying that you are successful in everything that you do, but you are successful at something, probably lots of things. The point is your attitude is key to your ability to see yourself as you really are.

I believe we are all winners. Each day that we awake and embrace another day, we are winning the race, we are showing the world that we are champions. We will not let the obstacles in life be our focus. We will use our energy to concentrate on our hopes, dreams and goals.

Start your day in a powerful way by beginning with positive affirmations. Remind yourself of all that you have to be thankful for. Declare aloud your plan for success. Write them down and read them back to yourself. Take time for some peaceful meditation, allowing your appreciation for life to fill your spirit with love and gratitude.

You MUST Read This Article!

By Douglas Cartwright

I’m smiling as I write this because I’m wondering: How did reading the title make you feel?

I imagine some of you feel tight and not-a-little resistant inside; some of you will have reacted so strongly that you’re not reading this at-all (!); and others will feel motivated and curious to find out – what’s so important?

Keep reading: you’ll find out.

But first, let me ask you a question: How’s your relationship to the following words and phrases?

• Have to
• Must
• Should
• Need to
• Got to

These are words we often hear as children and teenagers. "You’ve got to shape up your life, son." "A young girl needs to conduct herself differently, young missy."

And ‘Yes’, you read correctly. I asked about your relationship to these words/concepts…because we can develop a bad relationship to ideas in our mind and bodies…really.

Does anyone remember Michael J. Fox playing Marty McFly in the Back to the Future films? Whenever someone called him ‘chicken!’ he’d get really mad and dive headfirst into situations where he ended up in even more trouble!

The Essential Ingredient in Achieving Your Goals

By Julie Fuimano

OK, so you turn the calendar to a New Year and suddenly you think something should change. You’ll get those pesky 20 pounds off once and for all! Or you’ll definitely get promoted or change jobs this year. Or perhaps this is the year you will have a better relationship with your spouse – or your kids – or your parents…

The list goes on and on. But, as we all know, even with the best intentions, New Years Resolutions fade after a few short weeks – if not a few days!

There are several reasons for this.

Most of the resolutions we make for ourselves at New Years are not real goals but rather they are "shoulds". You "should" lose those few pounds. You "should" be promoted. You "should" make amends with your mother. You "should" treat your husband or wife better. You "should" quit smoking.

Stop Negative Thinking – 5 Practical Tips

Negative thinking is always toxic. It paralyses you and stops you solving problems, it distorts your view of the world and it’s the ultimate vicious circle – the more negatively we think about things, the worse we feel, and the more negative our thoughts become. It is therefore in your very best interests to stop negative thinking as quickly as possible, and the following tips will show you how.

1. Who’s In Charge Anyway?

Your mind is rather like your car. It can be comfortable, fuel-efficient and get you from A to B in record time, but it’s not actually doing the driving. You are! You are ultimately in charge of your own mind, and you’re responsible for your own thoughts. So the first step towards thinking more positively is to accept that fact. Make a conscious decision to stop negative thinking by challenging it as it arises. Remind yourself who’s in charge every time a negative thought crosses your mind.
